Ingo Maurer Maru Ingo Maurer Maru

The Ingo Maurer Maru Collection was founded in 1978 by Ingo Maurer and his preferred material, Japanese paper designed. The first light was the Knitterling pendant lamp that resembles a classic pendant lamp. Then came 1980, the next lights: the Maru pendant lamp Floatation pendant lamp and table lamp Lampampe. The pendant lights are a real eye-catcher over the dining table or as general room lighting. The screens of this extraordinary pendant lamps are made of Japanese paper, which donate a soft and warm light. The light is distributed through the crumpled willed and beautiful soft paper in the room. The Lampampe is an elegant and variable table lamp. The entire luminaire body is made of Japanese paper and kept stable by a metallic conversations. By tightening of the screw on the metal base, the paper body is slightly compressed and wrinkled. So the classic shape of the lamp is broken and Lampampe table transformed into a new contemporary form. Since the deformation of the paper foot always looks different, each Lampampe table lamp is unique. Through the paper the Lampampe table lamp creates a warm and cozy light, which invites you to relax.
