The Anglepoise Original 1227 Lamp with Desk Clamp can be mounted on tables and shelves. As with many other Anglepoise lamps, this lamp also has the tension spring technology developed by George Carwadine, which allows the articulated arm to be readjusted at any time. Thanks to this tension spring technology, the clamp lamp retains every set position. The lamp shade can be individually rotated and tilted. The Original 1227 Lamp with Desk Clamp is available in jet black, dove grey, linen white and bright chrome. The articulated arm and lamp shade are made of aluminum, the clamp made of cast iron. By using an additional neat cable clamp, the on/off switch on the supply line can be attached anywhere on the articulated arm of the lamp. Both compact fluorescent lamps and LED retrofit are suitable as light sources.
