Description

The Catellani & Smith Macchina della Luce mod. C pendant lamp has three different sized diffuser discs. The top disc with a diameter of 120 cm is coated with flying foil, the other two with smooth foil. The middle disc has a diameter of 80 cm, the bottom disc has a diameter of 50 cm. This light is available with discs coated in gold leaf, copper or silver leaf. Because the light source is integrated in the lower discs, the upper disc with the flying foil is illuminated. The three discs are placed on three rods. In the version with silver leaf discs, the rods are nickel-plated, the other two variants have rods made of brass.

The rods of the Macchina della Luce mod. C have a maximum of a length of 145 cm, but can be shortened if necessary. On request, also lights with 300 cm long rods are offered. As light source, LED boards are included. The LED boards are on site dimmable and have at total a power of 7 x 6 watts. The canopy has a dome shape and is nickel-plated.
