Description
The Foscarini Soffio is a table lamp with a lamp shade made of mouth-blown glass. The shade is completely white at the top, smoked in the middle and transparent at the bottom. A cylindrical diffuser made of opal polycarbonate is integrated inside the glass shade, through which the light is emitted glare-free in all directions. The round aluminum cover on the lamp functions as a touch dimmer: the luminous intensity of the table lamp can be increased by touching the cover up to three times. The Soffio is switched off by touching it again. To switch off the lamp at the first or second light intensity level, touch the cover for two seconds. In this way, the last selected light intensity is stored and automatically reset the next time the lamp is switched on. An LED is included as a light source.
