The Mawa Bologna floor lamp is part of the Gangkofner edition, which was already developed by Aloys F. Gangkofner in the 1950s. The floor lamp with a height of 52.1 cm has a mouth-blown, opal white matt glass with a filigree ribbed structure. The light is emitted homogenously and glare-free in all directions through the glass with a diameter of 39.8 cm. Each glass is elaborately handmade. Possible small bubbles or slight deviations in size and glass thickness are signs of craftsmanship. Its three-legged lamp base is made of powder-coated aluminum in metallic bronze.
The Bologna floor lamp has a dimmer on the supply line with Dim to warm technology. When the floor lamp is dimmed, the light colour changes to a warmer tone (from 2,700 Kelvin to 1,800 Kelvin) due to the Dim to warm technology. A suitable, replaceable Dim to warm E27 LED bulb for operating the lamp is included. Only with a suitable bulb can be guaranteed a perfect function of the Dim to warm technology.
