"Bulb"
[Maurer, Ingo]
Descripción
The Ingo Maurer Bulb is a table lamp out of high-gloss chrome plated metal which is one of the most important creations by Ingo Maurer up to now. Not only by its name but also through its optics the Bulb evokes a big bulb. Designed in 1966, the Bulb was incorporated 1969 into the Design Collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The high-quality lamp was created by Ingo Maurer with its mouth-blown crystal glass. It combines perfect lighting with the simplicity of Pop Art. A top-chromated LED bulb with an output of 8 watts and a colour temperature of 2,600 Kelvin extra warm white is included. Alternatively, a top-chromated incandescent lamp with a maximum power of 100 watts can also be used.
