Description
The Catellani & Smith Macchina della Luce mod. D is a pendant lamp with five diffuser discs. In this lamp, the five discs are mounted one above the other on the 145 cm long rods. From top to bottom, the discs are getting smaller, the largest disc has a diameter of 120 cm and the other discs have a diameter of 80, 50, 30 or 18 cm. The top disc is covered with flying foil, the others with a smooth foil. As surfaces copper, silver or gold leaf are available. In the version with silver leaf discs, the rods are plated in nickel, for the other two variants the rods are made of brass. By default, the rods have a maximum length of 145 cm and can be shortened. The rods are on request also available with a length of 300 cm. The pendant lamp is operated with LED boards with a total output of 10 x 6 watts. This lamp is on site dimmable.
